Personal data collected
LINKAO mainly collects the data you choose to send us voluntarily when you use the forms available on our website.
Depending on the services you use, the data that may be collected is as follows:
- Contact form: we may collect your first name, last name and email address, as well as the content of your message, in order to answer your request.
- Salary simulator: when you use our simulator, we may collect the parameters needed for the simulation, in particular your daily rate, the number of days worked and any professional expenses. If you voluntarily request that your results be sent to you, your first name and email address may also be collected.
- Referral form: as part of the referral programme, we may collect your last name, first name, email address and phone number, as well as the contact details of the person you wish to recommend.
- Webinar registration: to manage your registration for a webinar, we may collect your first name, last name and email address.
- Newsletter: to send you our newsletter, we collect your email address.
Technical data: when a simulation or a referral is submitted, certain technical data may also be associated with your request, in particular your IP address, information about your browser, your language and the marketing origin of your visit, such as the referring site or certain campaign parameters.
Your IP address may also be used temporarily to prevent abuse and to limit the number of requests sent to our services.
Purposes and legal bases of processing
The personal data collected by LINKAO is used only for specified and legitimate purposes.
- Handling contact requests: the data sent through the contact form is used to answer your requests and, where necessary, to prepare a possible contractual relationship. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures and, where applicable, our legitimate interest.
- Salary simulation: the necessary data is used to compute your estimate and, when you expressly request it, to send you the results of your simulation. Sending the results by email is based on your consent.
- Referral programme: the data is used to manage recommendations, contact the recommended people and follow up on the referral programme. The processing is based in particular on the referrer’s consent and on our legitimate interest where applicable.
- Webinars and newsletter: the data collected is used to manage webinar registrations and to send you our newsletter when you have chosen to subscribe. This processing is based on your consent.
- Security and abuse prevention: certain technical data may be used to prevent spam, automated submissions and abusive behaviour. This processing is based on LINKAO’s legitimate interest in ensuring the security and proper operation of its services.
Data about a recommended person
As part of the referral programme, you may send LINKAO the contact details of someone you know.
When we receive this information, the recommended person is informed by email of the existence of the recommendation and of where their data came from.
They can request the deletion of their data at any time by simply replying “stop” to the message received.
Data recipients and processors
The personal data collected is intended for LINKAO’s authorised teams as part of their duties.
LINKAO does not sell, rent or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.
To ensure the operation and security of the website, we may however use certain technical providers acting as processors.
- Hosting provider: our hosting provider hosts the website and stores the data needed for its operation. Information about the hosting provider is available in our Legal Notice.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: some forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile, a protection solution against bots and automated submissions. In this context, certain technical information about your browser may be analysed to tell human visitors from bots. Cloudflare, Inc. is established in the United States and is listed as certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

The planned retention periods are in particular the following:
- Contact requests and simulations: up to 3 years from the last contact;
- Referrals: up to 3 years from the recommendation, with the recommended person able to request immediate deletion;
