Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 21, 2026
These General Terms of Use (“Terms”) set out the rules governing access to and use of the linkao.fr website, published by LINKAO.
Purpose
These Terms define the conditions under which users may access the website and use the content, services and features offered on it.
The website is published by LINKAO, a French société par actions simplifiée (SAS) with a share capital of €30,000, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 983 197 948, whose registered office is at 229 rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France.
Accessing and browsing the website implies acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept them, we invite you not to use the website.
Access to the website
The LINKAO website is freely accessible to anyone with an Internet connection.
LINKAO uses the means necessary to keep the website accessible and working properly. However, LINKAO cannot guarantee that the website will be permanently or uninterruptedly available.
Access to the website may in particular be temporarily interrupted due to maintenance operations, updates, technical difficulties or circumstances beyond LINKAO’s control.
LINKAO cannot be held liable for the consequences of any temporary unavailability of the website, subject to the applicable legal provisions.
Use of the website
Users undertake to use the website fairly, in accordance with these Terms and with the laws and regulations in force.
It is in particular prohibited to use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes, or in a way likely to harm its operation, its security, or the rights of LINKAO or of third parties.
Users are responsible for how they use the information, content and features available on the website.
Salary simulator
The salary simulator offered on the website provides an indicative estimate of potential net income, based on the information entered by the user and on the social and tax parameters built into the simulator at the date of its use.
The results provided by the simulator are given for information purposes. They constitute:
- Neither a contractual offer;
- Nor a commitment by LINKAO;
- Nor legal, accounting or tax advice;
- Nor a guarantee of the amount actually paid.
The pay actually received under an umbrella-employment (portage salarial) contract depends in particular on the consultant’s situation, the terms of the mission, the contractual elements and the parameters applicable when the payroll is drawn up.
In case of any difference between the simulator’s results and the pay actually received, the employment contract, the applicable contractual documents and the pay slips prevail.
Editorial content
The website may offer various content, including articles, guides, resources, webinars and information about umbrella employment, freelancing and consultants’ activity.
This content is provided for information and educational purposes. It does not constitute personalised advice and is no substitute for an analysis adapted to each user’s particular situation.
LINKAO strives to publish relevant, reliable and regularly updated information, without however guaranteeing that it is exhaustive or permanently up to date.
Intellectual property
All elements making up the website — including its text, articles, guides, images, photographs, logos, illustrations, graphic elements, structure, design and visual identity — are protected by the applicable intellectual-property provisions.
These elements are the property of LINKAO or are used under licence.
Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, modification, distribution or dissemination, in whole or in part, of any part of the website’s content without LINKAO’s prior written consent is prohibited.
Any unauthorised use may constitute an infringement of LINKAO’s intellectual-property rights.
Liability
LINKAO strives to keep the information on its website reliable, relevant and up to date.
However, the information published on the website is provided for information purposes and may be changed at any time. LINKAO cannot be held liable for any errors, omissions or information that has become outdated, subject to the applicable legal provisions.
Users remain solely responsible for how they use the information and tools offered on the website and for the decisions they make on the basis of that information.
For any decision requiring a personalised analysis, it is up to the user to consult a qualified professional.
External links
The LINKAO website may contain hyperlinks to websites or resources operated by third parties.
LINKAO does not control these external websites and cannot guarantee their availability, content, accuracy or data-protection practices.
The presence of a hyperlink to an external website does not necessarily constitute a recommendation or an endorsement of its content by LINKAO.
LINKAO accepts no liability for the content, services or practices of third-party websites accessible from the website.
Personal data
The collection and processing of personal data carried out in connection with the use of the website are governed by LINKAO’s Privacy Policy, available from the website footer.
That policy sets out in particular the data collected, the purposes of processing, the retention periods, the recipients and the rights available to users.
Cookies and storage technologies
The arrangements relating to cookies and to any storage technologies used on the website are detailed in the Cookie Policy, available from the website footer.

LINKAO reserves the right to change or update these Terms at any time to reflect changes to the website, its services or the applicable regulations.
The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
The applicable Terms are those published on the website on the date it is visited.

In the event of a dispute relating to the interpretation, validity or performance of these Terms, the parties will endeavour to find an amicable solution.
Failing amicable resolution, and subject to the mandatory rules applicable to jurisdiction, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts of Paris.
